Kathleen Cox is a volunteer with the Victim Services Unit of the Halton Police. The Unit is made up of trained volunteers who give emotional support and community referrals to victims of crime and tragedy throughout Halton Region. Compassion and care is given to victims of crime and tragedy by the Victim Services Unit 24/7.
Kathleen is the recipient of the Community Volunteer Award for 2015. She was singled out for not only contributing more than 150 hours in the first six months of this year but for her dedication to the victims in the Halton community and her leadership abilities with her fellow volunteers.
